In 2017 MR Anirudh Singla who was still an 2nd year student of electrical and electronics engineering in Birla Institute Of Technology and Science, Pilani started an freelancing and content creation platform to fund his education by himself called the Pepper- a content marketplace and SAS tool platform.

Now a company which has worked with over 2500 brands in content creation field, which has a customer base of 500 to 600 actively, these companies include quite famous unicorns of this era as well as some well-known brand such as Adani, Amazon, Google, HUL, P&G and HDFC.
Anirudh who belonged to a business-oriented family was very fascinated with the business world from a very young age, his own father was also an entrepreneur in the steel industry thereby making Anirudh more interested in business and to set up own ventures from a very young age. The turning point to this rage to become an entrepreneur was actually ignited when he joined BITS Pilani. Where he found his strengths of being a very good writer, after which he started reaching out companies for jobs or internships where he was rejected multiple times and finally got an opportunity to write in Yourstory and also got chances to freelance for some us based companies. Where he found out the need for talent management even though there is ample of talent. Thus started his journey to start a company.
Born and brought up in Delhi for a spam of 20 years decided to start his venture in Mumbai as he believed Mumbai is the capital for creatives and marketing. Anirudh backed by his friends started working on the company even though none of his friends were technically sound they started to build their business is google sheets. Initially Anirudh and team bootstrapped the business and by the time they were in their 3rd year of engineering they already had a revenue of 1.7 crore in their company.
Today pepper has about 31 investors including Bessemer Venture Partners and GTMfund, Pepper content today has raised an total amount of 18.7mn.
Anirudh realized at a very young age and a initial stage in the market the need of the customers that was even though there is a lot of talent in India there was the absence of talent market place, just by understanding the need of the customers Anirudh was able to build successful company.
Thus the basic rule of any startup should be “ always be customer centric”.

Education is very important for an individual's success in life. It can give a big impact on human opportunity in continuing their life quality. Education is generally seen as the foundation of society which brings economic wealth, social prosperity and political stability. Economic and social status depends on education obtained by individuals since education contributes to individual capability in managing quality of life. It can help one’s individual to avoid poverty, build up harmony and a democratic society. Education is also capable of giving power to voice out their views, expose them to their real potential, lead them to become a better person and widen their views in certain areas.
Education is the key to move in the world, seek better jobs and ultimately succeed in life. Education is the best investment for the people because well educated people have more opportunities to get a job which gives them satisfaction. Educated individuals enjoy respect among their colleagues and they can effectively contribute to the development of their country and society by inventing new devices and discoveries. Main purpose of education is to educate individuals within society, to prepare and qualify them for work in the economy as well as to integrate people into society and teach them values and morals of society. Role of education is a means of socialising individuals and to keep society smoothing and remain stable. Education in society prepares youngsters for adulthood so that they may form the next generation of leaders. One of the essential tasks is to enable people to understand themselves. Students must be equipped with knowledge and skills which are needed to participate effectively as members of society and contribute towards the development of shared values and common identity.
As a conclusion, education plays a significant role in achieving a good quality of life. It is because education is important for guidance in human’s life. It can be regarded as an important medium in changing the paradigm shift in one’s individuality. Generally, education is always associated with the process of delivering skill, disseminating knowledge and internalising value. Practically, individuals who are equipped with knowledge can be able to internalise and apply the knowledge in everyday’s life. In children’s context, education can be seen as a continuing process of their development, so that they can practise and apply their knowledge as preparation in the future. Thus, education is a major aspect of development of any modern society since if there is a deficit of educated people then society will stops its further progress.

Mat Denge Hum!

We're excited to share that two of our B.Mus students, Harnish Dave and Harsh Joisar, received a Special Mention in the Professional Category at the Song Writing competition for Voting Awareness organised by the Election Commission of India!
They participated in the Voting Awareness Anthem Contest last August and created an original song, "Mat Denge Hum," with lyrics written by Harsh and vocals recorded by Harnish. On National Voters Day, the duo was honoured with a trophy, certificate, and a ₹10,000/- cheque at an event hosted by the Maharashtra Election Commission in Mumbai. We're incredibly proud of Harnish Dave and Harsh Joisar's impressive accomplishment.

Kanyathon x VijayBhoomi university and Jamrung

As the date grows closer, more and more campaigns are taking place! This week, The Kanyathon awareness day took the students outside the campus for a plantation drive. The Kanyathon team prepared two venues in Jamrung- Lakshmi Bhawan, the Kanyahton Shiksha kendra and Lion’s club school.
 The principals, the students and the faculty of the school planted the plants at designated spots.
This was followed up by inviting the girl students to the campus and organising Fun games in the sports block. The girls were playing the different sports that the sports block offers on campus.
To conclude the Evening, Students from The True School of Music set up a few musical performances for the children that were invited on campus.

Kanyathon: #RUNFORHER

Well, what is Kanyathon?
Kanyathon is a student-driven annual charity event, which is an initiative started in the year 2011 by the esteemed IFIM institutions, JAGSOM and Vijaybhoomi University. Kanyathon is back with its 12th edition which is going to take place on 12th March 2023 in Karjat.
Kanyathon has impacted the lives of over 3,00,000 girls in education, health, nutrition and safety with the help of Indian NGO, CRY (Child Rights and You). There is also a shiksha kendra known as the “Kanyathon Shiksha Kendra” which is a digital centre providing skill education to 100 girls.
The mission of Kanyathon is to empower the women and girls as we believe they are the future generation and by educating girls, we are securing our future. The event will consist of physical run, virtual run, e-gaming and the newest addition to it is the Walkathon.
The Kanyathon student team has pledged to use every penny acquired from the charity run for the well-being of women and girls. So let us all participate in this noble cause!!

Vijaybhoomi University’s campus was conceptualized and its spirit was brought to life by Mr. Alok Shetty, Principal Architect and Founder of Bhumiputra Architecture. The campus was designed on multiple axis systems, with each corridor, passageway, and window capturing views of the mountain range that serves as a backdrop to the beautiful site. This also helps create light wind tunnels that bring cross ventilation to every part of the campus, minimizing our need for air conditioning systems.
When I first visited the site in 2016, I was in awe of the sheer raw, natural beauty of the site. It was very clear from the start that whatever we propose as a design would only enhance the beauty of this nature and not try to take away from it in any form.
The design of this university mirrors the philosophy of the university itself. It is never done. It is always growing, always adapting. It is humble and acts as a canvas for nature, for learning. It is a vessel that can be filled with hopes, dreams, and ambitions of the youth that will call it home.
