BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Nitesh Kumar is working as an assistant professor of law and has work experience of 5 years in eminent law schools of the country. He is a research scholar (Ph.D. pursuing) from Shoolini University, Solan-Himachal Pradesh and has done his masters in law (LL.M) from ILS Law College, Pune specializing in ‘Business and Corporate Laws.’ He holds a B.A.LL. B-Integrated dual degree from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. He got placed in multiple corporate entities for their legal department immediately after completion of the master’s degree like TATA Tech., Royal Bank of Scotland, and Infosys to name a few, however academics being the first and foremost passion, he joined academics over corporate.
The first academic exposure started with Amity University, Mumbai for good two years and post that he joined Alliance University, Bangalore in the year 2019 and then in the year 2021 he joined Bihar University’s Law college, Muzaffarpur.
He has been crowned Mr. LL.M for his academic session (2014-2016) in ILS Law college, Pune University.
He has attended and addressed multiple FDPs, Webinars and Seminars, like ‘National Seminar on the working efficacy of RERA’ in Mumbai University etc. He has been the judge in the panel for the National Level Moot court competitions and has been the University’s spokesperson for Law school at Education Conclave in Pune.
He has written a book chapter titled ‘Triple Talque- A dilemma between religion and legality’ in the book named “A way forward to socio legal contemplation”. He has presented multiple papers in national and international conferences, the recent one was with Punjab University and the presented paper was titled ‘Status Quo – Living in Relationships and Marital Rape in India’ which was critically acclaimed by the panel.
An academician by passion he follows 3E method in his teaching ideology – ‘Engage, Educate and Empower’. He is a strong follower of Blooms Taxonomy with Interactive and Liberal learning mechanism. His teaching style includes ‘Chalk and Talk’ with the infused style of PPTs, Case study, research Projects and extensive use of legal illustrations and contemporary and Landmark case laws.
