Prof. Gilles Denizot Sitbon

Prof. Gilles brings with him a remarkable international journey as a vocalist, opera singer, actor, director, voice teacher, academic leader, and mentor. His work spans performance, pedagogy, artistic direction, and institution-building across Europe, the United States, and India.

He has performed on prestigious international stages across Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, London, Montreal, New York, Paris, and Zurich and has been associated with leading artistic and educational initiatives. As the Founder and General Director of OperaLab, he has trained and mentored young professional singers and voice teachers across international contexts.

His connection with India is equally significant. He has previously worked with A. R. Rahman in Chennai, where he contributed to specialist vocal training and engaged with India’s evolving music and creative industry ecosystem.

At the True School of Music, Prof. Gilles is leading the school’s academic and artistic vision, strengthening performance culture, vocal pedagogy, international exposure, creative mentorship, and industry-aligned music education.
