Dr. T N Singh

Dr. Trilok Nath Singh is a  Ph.D. in (Rock Mechanics) from the IIT (BHU) Varanasi, (Erstwhile IT-BHU) in 1991. He is currently the Director, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT),Patna.

He has Post-Doctoral Research experienece of 27 Years in Slope Stability, Blasting, Rock Mechanics, Underground Design, Climate Changes and more than 25 years’ experience on working in Equivalent Material Modeling Technique on various aspects of Mining operation for optimum exploitation of Earth Resources, Slope Stability, Blasting, Rock Mechanics, Engineering Geology, Soft computing, Natural Disasters and climatic change. 
He has guided for the following

→Post-Doctoral Research: 05 (Rock Mechanics and Blasting)
→Doctoral Research: Ph.D. Awarded – 36
→M.Ch – 03 (In collaboration with IMS, BHU)
→Postgraduate Thesis: 65; Undergraduate: 68.

He  has around 33 years of teaching experiencem in association with universities like Institute of Technology, B.H.U. Varanasi, Department of Earth Sciences, IIT-B, V.B.S. University, Jaunpur (U.P.), M.G. Kashi Vidhyapith, Varanasi and latest IIT Patna.
Dr. Trilok Nath Singh is a recipient of several awards including the “Shiv Prasad Gupta Samman”, “The John C Gammon Prize, Institute of Engineers India”,” ISRMTT Contribution to Rock Mechanics Award”,” Life time Achievement Award by ISRMTT”,” Life time Achievement award by NEEM International Foundation”.
