Vice Chancellor

Dr. Ravikesh Srivastava has recently joined Vijaybhoomi University as its Vice Chancellor. With over 35 years of rich academic experience, Dr. Srivastava has made significant contributions to teaching, research, consultancy, executive training, and academic administration.

Academic Leadership Experience

Prior to this role, Dr. Srivastava served as:
Professor of Economics, Vice Chancellor (Officiating), and Pro Vice Chancellor at IMS Unison University, Dehradun, for over five years, focusing on academic administration, strategic planning, and outcome-based assessments.
Dean of Academics at IMT Ghaziabad, where he led all academic activities and ensured compliance with AACSB standards.
Professor of Economics at SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai, spearheading international accreditations such as AACSB and AMBA while also participating in global AACSB conferences in the USA, China, and Thailand.

Before SPJIMR, Dr. Srivastava served for nearly a decade at the FORE School of Management, New Delhi, as Professor of Economics & Strategy. He held key administrative roles, including Chairman of the Post Graduate Program and Head of the Centre of Research. Earlier in his career, he worked at IIM Lucknow, contributing to World Bank-funded development projects, and at Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya in Madhya Pradesh.

Teaching & Research Achievements

Dr. Srivastava's academic interests include Managerial Economics, Strategy, Business Environment, Development Economics, and Social Impact Assessment.
He has published 25 research papers in reputed national and international journals.
He co-authored the bestselling book Managerial Economics: Principles and Worldwide Applications with Dominic Salvatore, published by Oxford University Press.
He has supervised four Ph.D. scholars in management and authored over 15 impact reports for development projects.

Training & Consultancy

Dr. Srivastava has designed and conducted over 30 Management Development Programs (MDPs) for senior and middle-level professionals, training more than 300 executives. He has also provided consultancy for prominent organizations, including HPCL, GHCL, HSIL, and Maruti Suzuki.
