Assistant Professor - Production & Music Business

Abhi Acharya is a seasoned musician, producer, and music business professional with over a
decade of experience. He holds a degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music
and an M.A. in Music Business from New York University. Abhi has performed at many prestigious
concerts and festivals and contributed guitar recordings for artists from the United States, India,
Malaysia and other countries, like the Grammy-nominated Berklee Indian Ensemble, Hip-Hop
producer Merlin Babaji, Swiss-Italian artist Mari Barbieri, This is Cosmos and more.
Co-founding Artistické, Abhi has supported independent musicians across India. His production
credits include the Cannes-screened 'Anukarne' and collaborations with various artists. He has
also worked with Venice Music, Flavorlab, and Blue Note Entertainment, gaining expertise in
music licensing, music distribution, social media and digital marketing.
As a Music Educator, Abhi combines industry experience with academic knowledge, fostering
creativity and passion in his students.
