Vijaybhoomi University invites applications for admission to its Full-Time, Part-Time and
Executive Ph.D. Programmes for the academic year 2025–26. Aligned with the UGC
guidelines, our doctoral programmes offer a rigorous academic and research environment,
supervised by highly qualified faculty and supported by modern research infrastructure.

Fellowship (Full-Time Ph.D.)

Eligibility Criteria
For Full-Time Ph.D.
Candidates must fulfil any one of the following in the relevant areas:-
- Master’s degree with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.5/10
- Graduation in Engineering (Any Branch) with 65% marks + work experience
- 4-year Honours Bachelor's degree with Research + relevant work experience
For Part-Time & Executive Ph.D.
Applicants must fulfil any one of the following in the relevant areas:-
- Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks or CGPA 6.0/10
- Graduation in Engineering (Any Branch) with 60% marks + work experience
- 4-year Honours Bachelor's degree with Research + relevant work experience
Note: Ph.D. programmes shall not be offered via distance or online mode as per UGC
regulations.
Selection Process
1. Online Submission of Application by the candidate
2. Eligibility Based Profile Shortlisting
3. UGC-NET/ JRF Exam Score/ Vijaybhoomi University Ph.D. Admission Test (VU-PAT)
Conducted for the Shortlisted candidates
4. Panel Interview
5. Research Proposal Presentation (offline only)
6. Final Declaration of Selection List (based on recommendation)
7. Registration of Candidates
Weightage of Entrance Test will be 70% and Interview Research Proposal will be 30% in the
Final Selection Process.
60% of seats will be filled through UGC-NET/JRF preferably and 40% via Vijaybhoomi
University’s entrance test. Unfilled seats in either category may be converted.
Note:- For JRF candidates, the difference amount of university fellowship will be paid.
Coursework & Credit Requirements
All admitted scholars must complete UGC-mandated coursework:

Supervision & Research Advisory Committee (RAC)
Each scholar will be assigned:
- A Research Supervisor (UGC-qualified)
- A Research Advisory Committee (RAC)responsible for:
- Approving research topic & design
- Guiding coursework
- Reviewing progress every 6 months
Thesis Submission & Evaluation

If one evaluator rejects the thesis, a third expert will be assigned.
Note:- Minimum 2 research publications in quality journals as prescribed by RAC is
required before Thesis Submission.
Research Ethics & Misconduct Policy
All scholars must adhere to Vijaybhoomi University’s code of research ethics aligned with UGC. Violations such as:
- Plagiarism
- Fabrication or falsification of data
- Misuse of authorship
…may result in disciplinary action and cancellation of admission.
