Shantanu Hudlikar
Shantanu started his professional career as an engineer in the year 1990 at The Music Room, Bombay. Starting off as a general gopher he went on to head the studio as Chief Engineer in 1991. In this capacity he engineered numerous radio and television commercials, documentaries, independent artistes, and a couple of feature films. From 2005 till August 2020, Shantanu took on the role of Sr. Sound Engineer at YRF Studios in Mumbai, heading the largest recording studio in this country. Till date Shantanu has engineered documentaries, stage shows, plays and almost 1000+ jingles, 400+ Indian films, including some big hits such as Kal Ho Na Ho, My Name Is Khan, Bunty Aur Babli, Dhoom Trilogy, Rock On, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Musafir, Masaan, Agneepath, Uri, Mission Kashmir among just a few.
Shantanu has worked with some of the finest names in advertising and film such as Mira Nair, Deepa Mehta, Chaitanya Tamhane, Anurag Kashyap, Shaad Ali, Kabir Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Nikhil Advani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Highlight Films, Whitelight Moving Picture Company, Genesis, Yashraj Films, Dharma Productions, Excel Entertainment, Amir Khan Productions and Vinod Chopra Productions to name but a few.
