Prof. Chandra Mohan

Prof. Chandra Mohan is an India-qualified lawyer with 11 years’ post-qualification experience. He obtained his graduate degree [B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)] from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat in 2013 and his post graduate degree (LL.M. in Corporate and Financial Laws) from Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University (Institute of Eminence) in 2021. Prior to joining the academia, he has a demonstrated history of working and spearheading training and development programs in the Banking and Finance Industry and has worked with the behemoths in the field such as erstwhile Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited and HDFC Bank Limited for a period spanning more than a decade. His expertise includes Corporate Laws, Banking & Finance Laws, Real Estate Laws, Contract Management, Litigation Management, HR & Regulatory Compliance etc.

While pursuing his LL.B., he has interned at leading law firms and senior advocates such as Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, Khaitan and Co. , J. Sagar & Associates, AZB & Partners , Karanjawala & Co., Mr. Amarjit Singh Chandhiok (former Additional Solicitor General of India), Wadia Ghandy & Co, etc.

He has an all rounded personality and has a keen interest in music, outdoor sports and extra-curricular activities. He has been a part of the university band and the university football team and has been an active member of various clubs and committees such as the music club, student activities committee, sports committee, the moot court committee etc
