Dr.Anirrban Ghosh, Associate Dean, JAGSoM, Vijaybhoomi University
An advertising maverick and a passionate teacher with more than 30 years of experience at working in various senior level with renowned media organizations and advertising agencies such as ABP Group, India Today, BIG FM, ORG-MARG Media Research, Percept Advertising, Madison Advertising, etc.
He has rich cross-category experience having navigated brands for leading Indian and Global corporations such as, Britannia, Nestle, Mondelez, Pernod Ricard, Asian Paints, Castrol, Pidilite, Hershey, and General Mills to name a few.
An MBA and PhD in Marketing and certificate degree holder in Digital Marketing and Digital Analytics from both IIM, Ahmedabad and ISB, Hyderabad. He also holds a certificate in Branding and Marketing Management from MICA, Ahmedabad.
He started his passion for teaching, around 17 years back and served as the Director for the School of Digital Media and Marketing (DMM) at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University, Pune and his last assignment was as an Associate Dean for NMIMS School of Branding and Advertising (SoBA), Mumbai. He is a Board of Studies (BoS) member for Christ University, Bengaluru and the University of Mumbai’s Garware Institute Of Career Education and Development.
His areas of interest include, Brand Strategy, Global Branding, Marketing Communications, Consumer Culture, Creativity & Innovation, Shopper Marketing and Business Strategy. Prof. Anirrban teaches courses in these areas with consistently high student ratings. He publishes articles regularly, conducts executive development programs and consults with brands like Mondelez, Nestle, Castrol, Britannia etc.
Besides marketing and teaching, he is a foodie at heart. So his other passion is cooking and long road trips to explore the variety of regional and traditional cuisines of India.
