Mental Health and Well-being: Physical fitness has a significant impact on mental health. Regular exercise releases endorphins, the "feel-good" hormones that reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. It improves mood, enhances cognitive function, and promotes better sleep patterns. Physical activity also provides an opportunity for social interaction and boosts self-esteem and confidence.
Disease Prevention: Regular physical activity and exercise contribute to improved cardiovascular health, reduced risk of chronic diseases (such as heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and certain types of cancer), and better management of conditions like high blood pressure and cholesterol. Physical fitness also strengthens the immune system, reducing the likelihood of infections and illnesses. This results in overall increased individual efficiency.
Weight Management: Regular exercise increases metabolism, burns calories, and promotes the development of lean muscle mass. Combined with a balanced diet, physical fitness can prevent obesity and related health problems resulting in maintaining healthy body weight.

Our Marcom Committee recently organized a captivating event that brought the world of Harry Potter to life on our campus. From the mesmerizing movie marathon to the exhilarating Triwizard Tournament, the week was quite eventful.
The event featured a screening of all eight Harry Potter movies, transporting viewers into the mystical realm of Hogwarts. The movie marathon was arranged post dinnertime so that the students could unwind from their hectic day with a few snacks and just immerse themselves in the magical world of harry potter. Additionally, The marcom committee also arranged for a Triwizard tournament to take place on campus.

The Triwizard Tournament began with a thrilling treasure hunt for the golden egg, as participants deciphered riddles and pursued clues hidden throughout the campus. The adrenaline continued to rise during the second task, where students dove into an underwater adventure to find their treasures beneath the lake. The dedication and teamwork displayed by the participants were commendable.
Finally, the Triwizard Tournament reached its climax with a seek and retrieve round. As the houses raced against time, their skills were put to the ultimate test. The climax awaited the champions at a secret location, with a Marcom Committee member as Lord Voldemort. Champions had to answer questions related to the clues they had gathered. The first correct answer determined the ultimate winner of the Pottermania Extravaganza.

Last week, Vijaybhoomi University had the privilege of hosting a captivating session by Dr. Amit Mehndiratta, a doctor who is also an expert in AI, specialising in it's implementation in healthcare. As students, we were excited to delve into the ethical and practical aspects of AI, particularly its role in transforming the healthcare industry.
Dr. Mehndiratta seamlessly merged the realms of healthcare and technology, shedding light on the remarkable potential of AI in revolutionizing various aspects of healthcare. Throughout his talk, he highlighted the implementation of AI in fields like diagnostics, prosthetics, stroke rehabilitation, personalized medicine, medical imaging, and healthcare management.
One key takeaway from the session was the rising implementation of AI in healthcare. We learned how AI is contributing to early disease detection, patient engagement, and support through predictive analytics. It was truly inspiring to witness the immense potential of AI to revolutionize healthcare delivery.
Moreover, Dr. Mehndiratta emphasized the importance of a multidisciplinary approach, suggesting that the combination of mechanical and organic components could lead to a better understanding of our own human brains. He drew parallels between the complexities of the human brain and the black box problem in computer science, reminding us that there is still much to uncover and explore.

As engineering students, this session broadened our perspectives on the integration of AI in healthcare and ignited our passion for pursuing careers in this dynamic field.
